Description

For “First Beginners” who want to learn how to quilt.

In this class you will learn how to use all the most modern sewing tools, read a pattern and most importantly – how to make a throw size 45″ x 57″ quilt in a day!

As a student, you will be taught how to “chain piece”, square up blocks and make your own binding. The traditional log cabin block is simplified with bigger easy to sew pieces! This is a great pattern for beginners to learn how to quilt because they see results right away.  You can make an entire quilt in a day with this pattern! Make it your own by choosing your own fabrics to suit your style.

This is a “kid friendly” class for children who are 12 and up – and for any adults who want to learn how to quilt!  Sign up with your friend, child, spouse, mom – or anyone else who would like a creative day out in a fun, semi private class – where you will get all the personal attention you need.  You can purchase a single seat if you want to share a machine and the experience with someone special to make a single quilt together.  If you have a group of 4 who would like to learn to quilt – the studio will be all yours – we keep this class limited to just 4 students per class!

When you purchase a seat in this class you’ll be able to download the class supply list and prep sheet.

GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE AVAILABLE (Just request one in a note when you purchase a seat in the class)

We provide a very sweet Janome 6230QC machine with all the bells and whistles – but still easy enough to use for a “First Beginner”.
This is a “Lazy Saturday” class – sleep in late, come to class and finish on time to go out on the town for the evening!

Our quilting class studio is located at 4 Joanna Rd, in Salem NH
