Description
This is a great beginner class! Using a jelly roll and some black cotton yardage, you can dip your fingertips into the foundation paper piecing world by making a simple 30″ x 30″ wall hanging or table topper. Add a few more blocks for a nice 44″ x 57″ lap quilt. You will learn how to prep the papers and stack the fabric, and all the simple steps to paper piecing in the Quiltworx method. There are no seams to match between blocks, so this quilt goes together like a charm! The colors you choose will make your quilt unique! Look at the gallery and see the different colorways to maybe help you make your choice. You can purchase the Cut Loose Stained Glass pattern and foundation papers here Stained Glass pattern & foundation papers for this quilt.
To make a bigger 60″ x 77″ quilt of the same design, you can purchase the “Fractured Paint Box” pattern here Fractured Paint Box pattern! The block units are just a bit bigger and take a little longer to piece; but the process is the same. This pattern is for you if you are wanting a bigger quilt, and don’t mind spending a bit more time to get there. If we run out of stock the pattern can also be purchased at Quiltworx.com with this link: Fractured Paint Box from Quiltworx.com
Both patterns will be acceptable for this class!
