Last Chance! Paradise in Blooms is a stunning quilt, and this may be the last chance you have to take a class on how to make it. It was “retired” from the Technique of the Month program at Quiltworx 3 years ago, and now the pattern is out of print.
SO – If you have one of these patterns in your stash – and think you may want to take a class – now is your chance!! Our 6 part class will start in Aug 2025 on every other Wednesday evening from 6pm – 10pm, and will be recorded for your convenience to refer to when class is over. We do not have any patterns left in stock – however, you may have some luck by connecting on FB with the Quiltworx Community Swap page, and searching for a pattern or kit there.
You will learn how to use template layout sheets, how to piece floating points and gentle curves, along with some simple applique that can be done by hand, by machine or even embroidered!
The wall size quilt measures 76″ x 76″ and will fit the top of a queen size bed. The Queen size quilt finishes at 99″ x 99″ with alot more applique in the queen extension corners, and can fit the top of a king size bed!
This pattern is NOT Quiltster compatible – so there is no option to color and get yardage for this quilt with an online tool. The only way to go about it is to color in the line drawing you will find in your pattern, and then figure out the yardage you need for each unit according to each booklet instructions – one unit at a time. I will have a FREE zoom workshop on July 23, 2025 at 6pm for anyone who signs up for class and still needs to purchase their fabric. You will need to let me know when you purchase your seat in class if you want to zoom in on July 23rd.
