Description

It’s National Quilting Day on March 17th, 2018 and what better way to celebrate than to take an EASY Quilting class!  You’ll make a traditional quilt using a modernized “rail fence” pattern.  This 52″ x 52″ quilt looks woven, and it’s all done with strip piecing – so anyone can do this.

You will learn how to use a rotary cutter, quilting ruler and mat to cut some accent strips and a couple borders – but the rest of the quilt can be done using a pre-cut jelly roll if you want.  It goes together quickly with “chain piecing” – you’ll have this quilt top finished in just 7 hours!

When you sign up for a seat in this class, you will be able to download the supply list and prep sheet, so you can get a head start on the class.  If you don’t want to do any prep work prior to class – that’s OK – you can do it on the first day.  We have machines and all the cutting tools you will need, so you don’t have to pack up and bring your own machine.  Just come with your fabric and have fun!

Snacks and water will be provided; you are welcome to bring something for lunch and a beverage of your choice.  We’ll listen to a great play list, the atmosphere is relaxed – our studio is a “No Stress” zone.  Sign up with a friend and enjoy the day catching up.  You’ll be done with class in time to go out and celebrate St. Patty’s Day!
