Description
This class is designed around beginner quilters who may need practice with their cutting and piecing skills. We provide Janome 6260QC machines for use in class, however; if you have your own machine in good working order; you are welcome to bring it. You will familiarize yourself with the machine, learn how to properly use common quilting tools, read a quilt pattern and chain piece your blocks for quicker construction. The pattern calls for a 20 jelly roll strip bundle – so most of the cutting is done for you before you even begin!
The class fee will include a hard copy of the “Scrappy Irish Chain” pattern and some light snacks, water and iced tea. There will be a 30 minute break for lunch. You are welcome to bring any food and/or beverage of your choice.
