Description

Looks like a little mouse critter, and can be adjusted to fit a low shank antique sewing machine.

This foot is used as a guide along the edge of a quilting ruler when you are free motion quilting.  When installed, it should just barely kiss the top layer of your quilt, and your machine needle should be centered in the “barrel” of the foot.  The “tail” is curled with extra wire so that it can be tweaked to fit your model machine.  Each foot has been made individually – so shapes may vary!  They are designed for machines that screw the presser foot to the side of the presser foot bar.  However, if your machine has a screw to the back, you may be able to bend the tail to the side and make it fit.

If you are not sure whether you have a high shank or low shank machine; check out the diagram in the picture above.

All LOW SHANK feet have been tested on a Singer VS2 machine – and proven to work admirably.  They have not been tested on any other model machine.  There is no guarantee with this ruler foot; but chances are you’ll be able to make it work!  All sales are final.
