Star of Fire quilt class

Description

Star of Fire is a foundation paper pieced pattern by Quiltworx. It finishes to 57″ square, so makes a beautiful wall hanging or lap quilt.  This pattern is a “Collectors Club Design” – so only 500 of them were published.  You can color it any way you wish using the Quiltster app and make it your own unique quilt!  You will need to purchase the pattern prior to class.  You can purchase one here while supplies last: Click HERE for pattern   or purchase directly from Quiltworx.com

In class we will be working on 3 rounds of diamond units and a “star shimmer” border to create a beautiful medallion star quilt. You will learn to piece gentle curves, floating points and leaf veins; then learn how to make them all go together perfectly using transition registration points for a perfect fit.  This class is for confident beginners, but even if you are new to paper piecing, you will get all the instruction you need to make this quilt a success story to share!

We have all the machines and tools you will need in our Salem NH studio – so no need to pack up your own and drag them all to class (unless you really want to).  Of course if you choose to participate via zoom, then you will already have everything you need at your fingertips!  Make sure you have a good internet connection and that your device can be plugged in during class.
