ARCADIA Quiltworx class

Description

Quiltworx has done it again, and designed another beautiful Technique of the Month pattern!  They only come out every other year.  This one will be available to the public on January 1st, 2027!

We are offering 2 options for class – one on Saturdays in the spring of 2027, and one on Wednesday evenings in the fall of 2027.

You will learn how to prepare your pattern and fabric using Template Layout sheets, how to color your quilt using the Quiltster app, how to piece floating points, piano keys, stacked X seams, gentle curves, narrow veins, applique (optional on all colorways) – all with the Quiltworx method of foundation paper piecing.  Donna Viau is a Certified Instructor who has an unlimited amount of patience, and will guide you through the entire project all the way to your last stitch.

There will be links to video tutorials that you can access while working on “homework” between class days – so you can always refresh your memory with what you learned in each class.  These tutorials can be watched On Demand at your own pace in your own space – so you can pause, “rewind”, and play over the parts you need extra visual instruction for. You get a great view of Donna’s “Quilting Hands” that can’t be beat, so you won’t ever miss a stitch!

The class you choose will only allow up to 20 participants, so that everyone gets the personal attention they need.  You will be able to pay one class day at a time, or 3 at a time, or the entire class in one shot.  You will need to purchase at least one class day in order to reserve your spot before they fill up.

You can purchse patterns and kits from any Quiltworx Certified Shop, or by pre-ordering through The Masquerade when you have purchased at least one class day. The pre-orders for kits will require a $100 deposit now, and then the balance when the kits come in, and are ready for shipping.  The cost for kits is unknown at this time, but they usually tend to come in between $180 – $500 depending on size and fabric collection.  You can click on this link to see the kits that I hope to carry: Kits that are coming soon!
