Description
This weekend workshop gives you 2 consecutive days to work on floating points and flying gesse in this quilt that consists of just 2 types of units. You will receive a link to video tutorials that will walk you through preparing your pattern papers and fabric prior to the first day of class. The quilt finishes to a very manageable 57″ – but can be expanded to 99″ with additional borders (purchased seperately).
During class we will sew both units on the first day, and learn how to tackle the curved piecing and assembly of the quilt on the second day. You will be given access to tutorial videos that you can sew along with at home to finish your project with confidence! You will also be able to contact our Certified Instructor Donna Viau at any time for support – all the way to the very last stitch!
This is a “Sleep at Home” weekend workshop. You can join us in our Salem NH Studio – or ZOOM in from your own sewing space at home. Our studio is equipped with Janome machines and all the tools you will need to get your project going. However, if you are more comfortable working on your own machine with your own tools, then of course you are welcome to bring them!
We have a refridgerator, Keurig and microwave – so you can bring your own lunch. It’s a relaxed cozy space with room for 4 – so bring a friend and learn how to paper piece together!
This pattern is Quiltster.com compatible – so you can color your own quilt and get perfect yardage and cutting information. Our sample colorways are available in PDF if you like one of ours and do not want to color your own pattern.
