Description
This 68″ x 68″ quilt is a foundation paper pieced wonder by Quiltworx. There are several techniques you will learn to complete – including floating points, curved piecing, matching stacked X seams and how to make the center 8 seam junction lay nice and flat! You will also learn how to use TRP lines (registration marks) to make all your seams match perfectly.
We will be working on this quilt during 6 hour sessions on 2 consecutive Saturdays. Giving you a week in between to get more done! This quilt may look complicated, but when we work on one unit at a time, you will see that it can all be done with ease! This pattern is compatible with the Stella Maris and Snowfall mixer series borders sold separately and available through Quiltworx.com
Videos are available to help you online with completing what you begin in class. Patterns are available here: Crimson Poppy pattern , and a supply list with class prep instructions will be sent to you in an email once you have purchased your seat in class.
We have all the machines and tools you will need in our Salem NH studio – so no need to pack up your own and drag them all to class (unless you really want to). Of course if you choose to participate via zoom, then you will already have everything you need at your fingertips! Make sure you have a good internet connection and that your device can be plugged in during class.
