Description
Mixer quilts are the the newest thing with Quiltworx patterns! You can mix and match components to create your own unique quilt. This class will introduce you to the mixer world by teaching you how to paper piece 3 very different diamond units- The Woven Star diamond, the Moon Star diamond and the Shimmer Star diamond. You can color them to suite your own needs, and put them together using our diamond layout – or turn them around and mix them up on your design wall to make your quilt unique. At least 6 different techniques will be taught in this class – so you will be well on your way to creating other mixer quilts on your own!
We have a cozy studio with 4 seats available and we also have a zoom option for anyone who would like to join us online. During each class we will work on the units that complete 1 of the 3 diamonds. In between classes you will complete 7 more diamonds that match the one we made during class. After the 3rd class, you will have 24 diamonds to put together – creating your very own Kaleidoscope!
When purchasing a seat in class, you will have access to videos for creating each of the 3 diamonds, so no need to worry if you need to leave class early or you can’t make it to one of the classes!
