Description
Learn to Paper Piece an easy Quiltworx pattern. There are no curves or Y seams, just simple straight lines in a triangle unit. The pattern is jelly roll friendly – or cut your own 2.5″ strips. The construction is the same no matter which option you choose! Finished size is just 42″ x 42″, but you may purchase the pattern called “Indian Summer” and make this quilt 64″ x 73″.
Yardage is give for a 2 color quilt, but you can mix it up and do a “scrappy” version with just 24 jelly roll strips and a yard of background fabric. We will work on 4 units of this quilt in our half day workshop – or 8 units in our full day class. The units are all pieced the same way, so you will go home with the knowledge to complete the quilt on your own – or make a table runner or pillow out of the completed units if you decide not to finish the quilt.
Light snacks will be served in studio. Feel free to bring a lunch if you think you’ll want a little more to keep you going. Our full day class will be limited to just 4 students in studio and 6 students via zoom – so you get the personal attention you need. In our Salem NH studio we provide all the tools – including the sewing machines – at no additional cost! However; you are free to bring your own if you would like. When you zoom in, you have everything you need at your fingertips!
