Merry Go Round quilt class

Description

Merry Go Round is a 96″ Rainbow quilt with Lone Star Diamonds, Paddle Wheel Fins, Flying Geese, 6 point Stars, Y seams and plenty of strip pieced units.  This pattern is also Quiltster.com compatible, so you can color your own version and get perfect yardage and cutting information if you so choose.  Our sample colorways in the gallery are available in PDF form for yardage requirements.

We will have plenty of time during our class day for short breaks. You have the option to purchase an In Studio seat, or join us via ZOOM!  Our studio is a cozy personal atmosphere with Janome machines and all the tools and cutting surfaces you need to get your project going.  If you feel more comfortable working on your own machine and using your own tools – you are certainly welcome to bring them!

You will receive links to video tutorials to help you through preparing your pattern papers and fabric prior to our first class. You can purchase your pattern here while supplies last: Merry Go Round pattern , or at Quiltworx.com

After each class day, you will have access to tutorials for all that was worked on in class – so you can continue working with confidence on your homework between classes.  If you have other plans, or if something comes up on a scheduled class day – no worries – you will have access to the tutorial links forever, so you can work on the project during a time that is most convenient for you. You will learn how to tackle Y seams with skill and ease along with many other techniques! We aim to complete at least a 1/4 of the quilt during our class time.  Our Certified Quiltworx Instructor Donna Viau will support you every step of the way – to the very last stitch.
