Royal Iris class

Description

We will learn to piece some gorgeous floating points, gentle curves, veins, and applique – all in a 4 part class in Studio or via Zoom.

Donna will take you through every step, starting with preparing your pattern and fabric for piecing, all the way through assembling your beautiful Queen size quilt top. She will also show you how to prep, place and sew the applique onto your quilt 3 different ways – by hand, by machine and with an embroidery program – with video turoials included to refer back to if needed.  This quilt finishes to 99″ x 99″.

In our studio during class you will have the option to use our machines and tools, or bring your own. Our space is cozy and inviting, so we will host 2 participants in person and open the class to 18 more via zoom.

Kits will be available at Quiltworx certified shops and also at Quiltster.com market place.  If you purchase the pattern through us, make sure you order a “fabric only” kit. (about $415 on Quiltster.com while supplies last)

We will have beverages and light snacks on hand, and you are welcome to bring anything you like to keep you going!
