Description
Summer Solstice is a Quiltworx pattern that can be expanded to queen size if you want turn your quilt on point and add corners. We will learn to piece lone star diamonds and NY Beauty blocks in this 2 part class, then have fun putting them all together into this beautiful 60″ quilt! You will get detailed instructions to help assemble those “stacked X seams” and how to make the center of your 8 pointed lone star lay nice and flat! We have all the tools and machines you need in our Salem NH studio if you choose to join us in person; of course if you want to bring your own machine – then that’s OK, too! We will provide some light refreshments, and you are welcome to bring your own lunch – or order out.
Would you like to join the fun from your own sewing space at home? Just choose the zoom option, make sure you have a working computer, tablet, or cell phone that can be plugged in and viewed from your sewing chair, then get ready to play with us all day from your own comfy space!
The Summer Solstice pattern is Quiltster compatible – so you can color it in your own way to make your own unique quilt! Our certified instructor can help you color your quilt prior to class if you want to try twisting it into something spectacular; just drop us a note and we will let you know how.
You will get an email with the supply list when you purchase your seat. Please have your pattern and fabric prepared and ready to go prior to the start of class.
