This foundation paper piecing 4 part class will teach you how to use Template Layout Sheets, How to piece Piano Keys, Floating Points, Gentle Curves, Narrow Veins, and how to make an 8 seam center lay nice and flat in this 99″ quilt with a Maritime Compass center!
Quiltworx Certified Instructor Donna Viau will be with you every step of the way either in our Salem NH Studio space or via Zoom from your own home! You will receive links to video tutorials prior to class beginning to help you prepare your pattern and fabric before class starts. Then you will have access to pre-recorded tutorials on all the steps to creating this beautiful quilt when the classes are over – so that you can continue to sew along with Donna as you get your homework finished between the live classes. She will support you all the way to the very last stitch – so you can finish your quilt in your own space at your own pace.
Our In Studio atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. We provide machines and all the tools you need, so you only have to bring along your project if you want to travel light. Of course, if you are partial to your own machine and your own tools, you can bring them along! We will have plenty of time between demonstrations for you to take breaks – which comes in handy via zoom if you need to feed the cat, walk the dog, move the laundry over – WHAT? Who wants to do that while they are quilting?! LOL
This pattern is Quiltster compatible, so you can color it anyway you like and get the yardage you need and cutting instructions for your specific colorway. If you don’t have the Quiltster app, then Donna will zoom with you to help you color your quilt.
