Uncharted Waters class

Description

This 68″ x 68″ quilt is like a little mariner’s compass quilt! You will learn how to piece some long floating points, feathered star units, curvy flying geese, and gentle curves. This 4 day summer camp will give you plenty of time to finish piecing at least half – if not all of your quilt.

Our Salem NH studio is air conditioned and comfortable. We will provide some light snacks and beverages, but you are also welcome to bring your own munchies. Just 4 hours a day for camp – so you can have plenty of fun in the morning or evening sunshine! We will keep you cool during the heat of the day!

If you choose to zoom in with us, then you get the best of both worlds! Personal instruction in your own sewing space! Want to skip out of class for a short break – or swim in the pool – No problem! We will have video tutorials available after class is finished, so you can have Donna in your sewing space all the way through to the last stitch.

New to foundation paper piecing?  This is a great place to start!  As a beginner, you may need some paper piecing tools.  You will be able to purchase the very popular “Add-a-Quarter” ruler, “Fabric Glue pen” and “Restickable Glue Stick” on our website while you are purchasing the class and pattern!  Just check out our Notions page.

Our example is colored with the new Traditions and Heather collections from Hoffman fabrics, but you can choose your own colorway in the Quiltster.com app, or purchase a kit in the cover quilt neutral colorway from a Certified Quiltworx shop.
