Description
The Lincoln Log quilt was designed as a beginner pattern to introduce quilters to paper piecing. It finishes to 32″ x 32″ for a cute wall hanging or table topper. The project is fast, uses straight-lined and gentle curve foundation piecing and assembly, employs simple cutting techniques, and is an affordable and fun way to jump into your first paper piecing project.
The Beach House quilt is really just 4 Lincoln Log quilts combined into a bigger 57″ quilt. Either pattern will work for this class, as the units are all exactly the same.
We will complete 2 “blocks” during class made from 6 paper pieced units.
Check out the images for both size quilts in our gallery. The patterns are available here: Lincoln Log pattern and here: The Beach House pattern
We will provide light snacks and beverages for those of you who will be joining us in the studio for this class. Feel free to bring a lunch if you think you may need something more substantial to keep you going. If you will be participating via zoom, just know that we allow quite a few breaks during the day for your needs.
