Description
This one day class is a great way to learn how to Foundation Paper Piece a quilt! The pattern finishes to just 40″ which also makes it a great format to play with adding your own fabulous printed fabric border. Our sample is showing a border print designed by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning Fabrics!
You will learn how to prepare pattern papers and fabric by using template layout sheets. We will piece perfect floating points and gentle curves.
Either come into our studio in Salem NH, or ZOOM in from your own sewing space. Our studio at The Masquerade is equipped with Janome machines, and all the tools you will need to get this project done. However, if you feel more comfortable with your own machine and tools, you can certainly bring them along!
We have a relaxed atmosphere, and have a fridge, Keurig and microwave available if you want to bring your own lunch.
At the end of class you will be given access to video tutorial links that you can sew along with if you ever want to make this quilt again – or if you need to finish it at home at your own pace. Our Certified Instructor Donna Viau will support you every step of the way – to the very last stitch!
