Description
Come to class and learn how to foundation paper piece this explosion of color quilt! Quiltworx has designed this quilt to be part of the soon to be released Fireworks Mixer series. The units within this quilt can also be mixed with units that are in the 4th of July Quiltworx pattern.
You will learn how to piece some perfectly floating points, and curvy flying geese and some narrow curved veins that will all go together to make this very colorful and fun 66″ x 66″ quilt. Once you learn these techniques you can expand this quilt to several bigger sizes – like 87″, 99″ or even 108″ square! Video links will be available to class participants for preparing your pattern and fabric prior to class.
We are offering 2 seats in our studio, and also 8 seats via zoom – so you will get the personal attention you need to get the project done. Our Certified Instructor Donna Viau will support your efforts every step of the way, from the very first minute until your quilt is complete – no matter how long that takes!
Our studio is equipped with all the machines and tools you need, but if you have a certain love for your own machine, feel free to bring it along. If you will be zooming in with us, please make sure your machine is in working order and that your device can be plugged in during class. We will be zooming for 6 hours – however, you will be giving plenty of time for breaks and lunch, so you don’t miss out on any instruction time. If you are participating in studio, we will provide some light snacks (fruit, cheese & crackers), but you are welcome to bring your own lunch, or order out from a local sub shop.
