Description
The Spice Rack quilt finishes to 75″ x 97″ – a very generous twins size.
This pattern was designed as a beginner pattern to introduce quilters to foundation paper piecing. This quilt is jelly roll friendly, fast, has all straight line stitching, and employs simple cutting techniques.
During our 6 hour class you will learn how to use Template Layout Sheets and foundation piece 5 small units that combine to make one very big block! You can choose to make the entire quilt, or shorten it to 75″ square with 3 blocks left over to make some large throw pillows.
Our studio space is equipped with Janome Quilter’s Companion machines and all the tools you need for the class. All you have to bring is your fabric and pattern. The pattern is available at Quiltworx with this link: Quiltworx Spice Rack pattern
If you would prefer to bring your own machine and tools to class, that’s quite alright! We totally understand the connection people have with their own machine.
Class will run from 10am – 4pm, so we will provide time for a lunch break if you would like to bring something to snack on. We will have some small snacks (fruit, cheese & crackers) to keep you going, and have a refrigerator you can store a lunch in.
