Description
Step into paper piecing with this simple quilt block using jelly roll strips. We will be using a Quiltworx pattern to put 3 blocks together for a placemat. 12 placemats equal one quilt. We have kits available in studio to create 2 placemats, or purchase the entire Stepping Stones pattern: HERE and use your own 40 piece jelly roll to create a 61 x 68 quilt! This class is also compatible with the Cappuccino Party for Four Quiltworx pattern for placemats and table runner. The 3 blocks that create a unit are the same in both patterns!
This is a beginner class, so we will keep the class to just 4 participants in studio and 15 via zoom so that everyone will get personal attention. We will provide some light snacks fruit, cheese & crackers and water to keep your engine going. If you would like to pack a more substantial meal, we have a refrigerator to store it in (microwave to cook it in), and you are free to take a break to eat whenever you wish.
This pattern is also offered as a half day workshop to larger groups. Just one of the 3 units will be made during the workshop, and each student will go home with the knowledge to complete the other 2 units on their own. We will also provide a link to a video tutorial that you can access to help you along if you find yourself stuck.
